In recent months we have tried everything - roads in relation to the problems of the Old Town - to highlight the state of environmental degradation facing the Centre, to make citizens aware of what the residents are forced to breathe and endure every day. We tried to figure out how to become the future of the Centre was linked to future of people who live there and not the cars that cross it, we have tried to show (and we believe we have succeeded) as ZTL and electronic surveillance, necessarily coupled, can be an excellent tool for monitoring and prevention of traffic problems, before mere "distributors of fines."
We found in our commitment to comfort those who (LegaAmbiente, Council for Environment Brescia, many residents sensitive to the problem) have been shown to have at heart the fate of the Old Town, convinced by incontrovertible data that it is now time to change our mentality in the use of public transport. We asked the Municipality of Brescia give a strong signal, leaving the mastodons and diesel increasingly favoring the spread of electric public transport, especially in Old Town, also asking them to do the shuttle from the parking structure in runs every 5-10 minutes at most.
